A new and exciting development

Ladies and gentlemen, fair readers all –

I have become a tea-drinker.

I KNOW. It’s unbelievable, almost heretical, for someone who loves coffee as much as I do and is such a snob about it, but I really have fallen in like, at least, with tea. I think maybe it’s this whole literary writing thing I’ve got going on lately. You know. I bet C.S. Lewis and Charles Dickens and Jane Austen all drank gobs of tea while bent over their masterpieces. Of course, they were also all British and don’t know how to season their food or what sunshine is like for most of the year.

(Not that I have anything against Britain, I loved it – they make great shortbread and lager and have cobblestone streets, what’s not to like? – but I have a valid point.)

Anyways. I think this new tea thing is OK. I’m talking myself into it. Besides I only drink the very fruity ones with plenty of honey, and only once my 10 or so cups of (Grind and Brew! YEAH!) coffee are long gone.

It also gives me an excuse to pair my afternoon tea with a muffin or cookie, which might be the best idea ever.  So there’s that.
