Thinking Big
Saturday and Sunday, Adam and I volunteered at Global Weekend at Mariners.
It was freeing, somehow, to be in a mass of noble, everyday people, pounding nails and hanging black fabric and taping up pictures and getting excited about buying mosquito nets.
There are big things to be conquered. But yesterday, looking out at a campus of thousands of people who were willing to spend a few hours making a difference, I believed in the power of Christ in us to do just that.
We are blessed…. to be a blessing.
