Set Free
You’ve set me free from meaninglessness, from mediocrity, from listless life. You daily set us free from ourselves, from our bad judgment and selfishness and the lies that we enslave ourselves to. You have given us freedom and love and joy and right thinking, not so we can stand by, but so we can step out, step forward, be counted and be heard. God grant me courage to step out daily, in little things, small conversations – those pieces of truth that are all too easy to avoid saying and yet, once spoken, cannot be diminished.
