Out of Office Auto-Reply

Hi, you have reached the desk of Dani Linthicum: hard worker, relentless dreamer and lover of much Diet Coke.

She is currently away from her drab, small soul-sucking cubicle, on a quest to bolster a dear friend as she embarks on one of life’s greatest journeys – married life.  Dani is a bridesmaid in this wedding, and is going to serve as handmaid of all things frilly to her favoritest soccer/study/hot tub/workout/Starbucks/shopping buddy of all time.  Said friend lives in the land where everything is bigger, queso abounds and football rules.  Yes, dear caller, Dani is gone to Texas.

Luckily enough, Dani happens to be engaged to a Texan, who’s also homesick for cheesy foods and a capella worship, and the two of them will be gone all week, soaking up the 100 degrees and humid greatness and generally forgetting about work or anything else responsible until Monday.

Please leave a message, as she will need encouragement when she gets back from her travels and has to return to her ugly office.  She will return your call as soon as possible.  Thanks and have a great week, although it probably can’t compete with hers.

  1. *Beep!* Hey Dani, it’s Liz. I talked to my violin teacher this week, and he thinks the Canon in D is doable. So that’s good, right? I will work on it, and we can see how it sounds. Maybe I’ll play it for you when it gets better. I will need a pianist – maybe the guitarist would work. Not too sure, actually, because the guitarist would need to read music. Can the guitarist read music? Don’t know.

Okay, this voicemail is really long now. Hope you have fun in Texas! Talk to you when you get back!

    Bye!
