Let’s Get Shopping! {Wallets}

It has been ALTOGETHER too long since we went shopping together, hasn’t it, loves? (Confession: it has not been too long since I went shopping without you, I am sorry to say. Many cute things were bought in a moment of stress and busyness and an overwhelming need of cuteness and I LOVES them. My credit card loves me back.)

So! Without further ado, we should go look at wallets, right? For the holding of credit cards and the showing off of manicures, AMIRITE? (Not that I ever et manicures. But I totally notice it when other people get them and pull out their wallets with pretty fingers.)

Anyhoodle, I think we should start with this pretty little number from Fossil, because nearly everyone I’ve ever talked to knows that I love them, and how could you not, with this kind of style:

fossil wallet
IN LOVE, y'all.

Ain’t she just the cutest thing? I love her.

$40 (a downright bargain in Fossil-store terms) with a zipper for all those pesky receipts and a wristlet strap for when I simply need to hold Diet Coke instead of my identity in both hands.

See it here.

Up next we have a really cute wallet from Vera Bradley which the Internet will not let me show you, but is so fun. I love color! Bonus: Vera has eleventy-billion fabric options and you get to pick your poison.

The only bummer with Vera is that she’s a bit pricey, but not as bad as these babies, so I guess it’s all relative. Onward!

Next I would like to introduce you to Gussy Sews. Gussy is a fabulous blogger and seamstress extraordinaire and she makes yellow, ruffled wristlets. I know.

PLUS, it’s only $27! For a handmade, freakishly cute wallet.

Ruffles! (Also, I'm a sucker for yellow.)

Next, it’s time for GREEN. I love green. I love Sundance. I LOVE this wallet:

green sundance walletPlus, it seems big enough for my many and sundry receipts, business cards and credit cards, does it not? And the color reminds me of spring and it, too, has a wristlet strap for my coffee/Diet Coke-clutching ways. (sigh.) $148 (ouch) from Sundance (oooh).

Oh, business cards go everywhere, don’t they? And they get crumpled in my wallet or lost in my purse and it’s really a problem. Therefore, I need this.

I’ve been blowing smoke lately about my love of Ayn Rand, so why not get into political/religious debates while pulling out a business card for a potential client? A little controversy never hurt anyone, right?

…right?

Clearly I need to move on.

Go look at this one! It’s like an oversized belt buckle for your money! PERFECT.

Anyways, wallets.

I don’t know why this picture is so small, but you really should just hop on over Madewell and look at this little ditty. So simple and classy and cute. A perfect wallet for the every day essentials with no fuss.

Also, it’s less than $20. Sold.

Speaking of little bitty cute coin purses, go see this one from Anthropologie. Sure, it’s almost $30 for what amounts to a scrap of fabric, but it’s SO cute and obviously necessary for life.

Obviously.

yellow handmade walletI already told you guys that I’m a sucker for yellow… and this just makes me swoon. Yellow! Trees! Handmade! There’s even a BIRD ON IT. From happykathy on Etsy for $43.

teal walletJust to be fair, I’m kinda into turquoise too. So check this out!

From Patina for $32.

Last but not least…. a kitschy reminder to Mind the Map.

Clever and sweet from ModCloth.

So! What are you going to be wrapping your money in this summer? I’m still using a wallet from a few years ago, but I’m accepting donations to update my look. What’s your favorite?

  1. Squee! I love all things Fossil. And pretty much everything else pictured here. But you know what I love more? When you say “anyhoodle.” I got my first opera wallet last year and I’m insane over it. It’s purple. I call her Iris.
    Love,
Your crazy food lush friend Jen L.:)
