Yes, it’s another list. I have things to do, OK?

If I have so many things to do, why am I making a list you ask? Because it makes me ferl better, that’s why. Also, I’m a girl, so I excel at making NO SENSE.

So, here we go. Da da daaaaaa…. The List of All Dani Has To Do and Still Maintain Christmas Magic in the Next 48 Hours:

  1. Bonnie needs an oil change. Like, seriously, we are overdue and going to be driving into the hinterlands.
  2. I need the gym. Sugar cookies are not, actually, their own food group. Who knew?
  3. Grocery stores are having INSANE sales. We like food (see #2). Thus, my coupons and I have deals to chase.
  4. Also, Adam and I have been on the Great Jean Hunt for my long-legged but slight of form Hubs. It has, so far, created three returns and two debates over Baggy Butts and Tight Waists and other sundry troubles. So I have jeans to return.
  5. Also, our Christmas card is in the works. We promise. But I need to pick up delightful bits of design-y business…
  6. …and address envelopes…
  7. …and buy ink…
  8. …and print our letter.
  9. Wrap presents. However, I have trouble with this. Wrapping presents does not actually take that long, but it is a beautiful ritual in my little sentimental heart. I gather all of my goodies, put on a Christmas movie, light up the tree and a candle or two, get some coffee and THEN I can commence wrapping. Don’t rush me.
  10. Make muffins. My husband loves my banana-eggnog muffins, and NEEDS them in order to make it through the last few days of work and the Long Drive North.
  11. Make my award-winning cookies. Oh, did you not hear? Gosh, I’m modest. I mean… anyways. Adam and I won the Christmas Cookie Contest at his office, (WOO!) and the judges all liked them so much that Adam’s compadres did not get even a nibble. So we’ve promised more, which I need to bake. Soon.
  12. But before I can bake, I need to wash dishes, which has become kindof a big deal, seeing the recent state of my kitchen. HOWEVER, Adam did move the microwave and clean the counters and prettify it nicely, so that’s awesome.
  13. And yet more proof that I have the best husband in the world.  That’s not really a to-do… (haha sex joke!) but it’s true nonetheless.
