“It’s all about relationship”
I was talking with an acquaintance the other day who gave her reason for everything she does in life: “It’s all about relationship”. This phrase rolled around in my head all weekend, and I’ve realized that while most of us would agree that relationships and loved ones are what matter we don’t often live like it. We act like “It’s all about our accomplishments” or “It’s all about our hipster clothes” – and these slogans all sound empty the moment they leave our lips.
So why do we live our lives like that?
